SSA Newsletter Editor, Philanthropy and PR/Events Committee

Hi! I have been the Faculty Secretary for Biology & Physics for approximately 4 years. I graduated from SVSU in 2011 with a BA in History and expanded my studies at Indiana University receiving a MA in Islamic Studies & Arabic. I moved back to the area because Michigan is where my heart and my family is. I love the outdoors and have recently become absorbed in the bird watching world. I am married to my husband (who I met at SVSU) and we have one son who is the light of my life. I also am the editor of the SSA Newsletter & a member of the Philanthropy Committee & PR/Events Committee. I am a strong union supporter and truly believe that change doesn’t come from the top – it rises from the ground.
